Michael F. Guntner (Sr.), President

Maintaining over 30 years of hands-on experience in the Rolls Royce
/ Allison 250 business, Michael Sr. is well known and highly respected
by many in the helicopter industry. With his extensive knowledge and
unparallel level of experience, he continues to be the technical backbone
to his customers, employees, students and pilots all over the world.
In 1965, Michael Sr. first began working on Hiller 12E Helicopters.
In 1972, he joined Standard Aero where he commenced his career on
the RR 250 engines. The following eleven years, he worked as an Overhaul
Shop Technician with promotions to Line Inspector, Lead-Hand, Engineering
Manager, Field Service and Sales Manager. He then joined Aviall in
1983 where he became the Field Sales and Service Manager, Customer
Support Manager, Engineering Manager, Training and AMOC Manager. Michael

Maintenance Council (CAMC). He was involved with the creation of the
Occupational Analysis for Gas Turbine Engines that partnered with
the industry and the learning institutions to create a National Gas
Turbine Engine Course. He is presently a member of the National Standing
Trade Advisory Committee (NSTAC), and an evaluator for CAMC for the
Gas Turbine Engine.

multiple tasks from aircraft salvage to re-builds where he learned
the direct needs of a helicopter operator. In 1993, he joined a large
repair and overhaul support company specializing in commercial and
government airline activity. He became the Sales Manager for the company’s
three repair centers, one in the United States and two in Canada.
His responsibilities were to maintain existing capabilities and introduce
new product lines to the organization. By near end of 1993, he joined
